How To Turn Any Shower Into An Aromatherapy Experience

Seasonal Shift
Weather patterns have shifted, winter has turned into springtime, and springtime has replaced the winter seasons. Due to mother nature’s shift, you may feel the impact. The effects may be mentally or physically, such as sinus pain, mood swings, ear infections, or even head congestion. As for myself, the fl+uctuations with the seasons can either affect my mood or sinus.

Adjusting To The Shift
So, how can the body adjust through the seasonal change?

Well, a few months ago, I decided to switch up my traditional night routines by incorporating eucalyptus aromatherapy showers.

Eucalyptus Showers
Believe it or not, eucalyptus showers have become my favorite— a soothing steamy shower that releases calming and healing elements, produced by the eucalyptus tree. Evaporating eucalyptus showers are quite pleasant, a unique and soothing experience.

Have you heard the saying that plants make people happy? This statement is actually true; plants do make people happy. Studies show that plants heal the mind, body, and inner spirit.

Plant Therapy
Plant Therapy isn’t brand-new. Natural therapy and treatments have resurfaced, originating from holistic-healing remedies. Treatments include herbs, oils, and plants. Holistic healing continues to rise as a method to achieve a healthy and balanced life.

Flavonoids
Eucalyptus leaves produce flavonoids; scientists have discovered that certain flavonoids have antihistamine, antimicrobial, memory- and even mood-enhancing properties.

Tannins
You can find Tannins in skincare and cosmetic products.

They are produced in the bark of trees, wood, leaves, buds, stems, fruits, seeds, roots, and plant galls, used in medicine supporting our health. Tannins are astringents that tighten pores and draw out liquids — for example, witch hazel.

Eucalyptus Oil
Eucalyptus leaves are steam distilled, extracting a colorless liquid and producing a sweet-wood aroma.
