How to Cut, Slice and Dice a Mango
Have you ever taken a bite into a fresh mango? If not, then you’re missing out on pure freshness!
Native to southern Asia, mangos have become one of my favorite fruits. Studies have shown that mangoes are excellent for your hair and skin. They contain vitamin A, a nutrient required for sebum production which keeps our hair moisturized. In addition, Vitamin A supports the growth of all our bodily tissues, including skin and hair.
Did you know that there is enough intake of vitamin C, found in just 1 cup of mango per day? Pretty interesting, rights? Vitamin C is needed for the formation and support of collagen, which provides structure to skin and hair.
Similarly to their family members (pomegranates and pineapples), mangos can be a challenge to prepare. In the center of mangos, you will find a long flat, thick seed. I must admit, the seed can be a bit intimidating if it’s your first time cutting this delicious fruit. But they’re pretty simple to slice, once you get started.
